We audit bookmakers. We don't take bets.

GambleCode is an editorial team, not an operator. Every bookmaker we publish is scored against eight published criteria, and we say plainly which of them we have actually applied. Today the answer is none of them: no operator has been field-tested, so no score appears anywhere on this site.

We are paid by affiliate commissions. We decide the score first and agree the commercial terms afterwards, never the reverse — how that works.

We are rebuilding our country guides one market at a time, so that each one is written and verified locally rather than translated from a template. One market is live today.

The eight criteria

Each criterion will be scored independently on a 10-point scale, and the composite normalised to a 5-star rating. No rating is published yet — the protocol has not been run. An operator that loses its licence is removed, not downgraded.

01 Licensing & Regulation Licence checked against the national regulator's own register.
02 Odds Quality Overrounds measured against at least three rivals in the same market.
03 Bonus Value Judged on what the offer actually pays out, not its headline number.
04 Withdrawal Speed Timed end to end using the payment methods local bettors really use.
05 Mobile Experience Stability and live-betting performance rated on Android and iOS.
06 Customer Support Contacted anonymously; response time and resolution both count.
07 Responsible Gambling Self-exclusion, deposit limits and reality checks must be present and usable.
08 Market Depth Pre-match and in-play markets counted on the sports that matter locally.

Editorial independence policy

Scores are set before commercial terms. A bookmaker is audited and rated first. Whether an affiliate agreement follows, and on what terms, cannot change the score already awarded.
Ranking order is the audit result. Operators are ordered by composite score, never by commission rate. We do not sell placements, badges or "editor's choice" labels.
Unlicensed operators are never listed, whatever they offer to pay. A bookmaker only appears in a country guide if it holds a valid licence in that country.
Affiliate links are labelled. Every commercial link carries rel="sponsored nofollow" and opens in a new tab, so you always know which links pay us.
We publish corrections. If a review is wrong or out of date, tell us. We answer within two business days and correct the page when the evidence supports it.
